A genuine driver's Porsche with an ANDIAL-built 3.5-liter twin-plug flat-six — offered for sale by its owner. Race-shop engineering, signed by the men who built the legend.
Motorsport pedigree, road-going refinement — and ready for a new owner.
Beneath its Silver Metallic skin lies a powerplant worthy of Porsche's most competitive machinery: an ANDIAL-built 3.5-liter twin-plug stroker flat-six, personally assembled in 1984 by Dick Elverude, with Dieter Inzenhofer overseeing its final tuning and verification.
The car balances aggression with restraint — a purposeful stance and timeless lines. Factory comforts including a sunroof and air conditioning remain intact, yet the true character emerges the instant the key turns: the flat-six snarls awake, immediate and mechanical.
It was never meant to sit under museum lights. It was built to move — and it's offered now to the next enthusiast who'll drive it as intended.

Mechanical injection & a period NOS RSR fuel pump — privateer IMSA character, civilized enough to wear a plate.
Inzenhofer himself once joked the engine was so potent he considered fitting Goodyear air brakes.

At Luft 11 in Durham, North Carolina, this 911 SC was signed in the engine bay by Alwin Springer and Dieter Inzenhofer — the "AL" and "DI" of ANDIAL itself. Their signatures aren't decoration; they're authentication from the hands behind ANDIAL's IMSA dynasty.
Sold with full restoration documentation and a personal letter from Inzenhofer verifying the engine's provenance.

Out of a full restoration — and onto the lawn.
Fresh from a comprehensive, bare-metal restoration, the car was presented at the Bridgehampton car show in September 2015. The Connecticut "ANDIAL" plate says the rest.
Three Porsche fanatics, one California shop, a name that became legend.
The backbone — parts savant who kept the shop running.
Engine mastermind; architect of ANDIAL's race reliability.
Led ANDIAL's racing arm; later CEO of Porsche Motorsport N.A.
Founded in 1975 in Santa Ana, California, the three met under Vasek Polak's Porsche operation before striking out on their own. The name draws from the first two letters of each founder — ANold, DIeter, ALwin.
Through the 1980s and '90s, ANDIAL-prepared 935s and 962s dominated IMSA, winning at Daytona from 1983–1987 and again in 1989 — in the 1987 24 Hours, the first five places were all ANDIAL-powered.
This 911 SC is one of their finest collaborative road examples: equal parts precision and passion, competition and craft.
Offered by its owner with full restoration documentation and Inzenhofer's provenance letter. Serious inquiries welcome — happy to share service records, additional photos, or arrange a viewing.
